OPTION #1: be a “spotter”

Be a spotter for the same rider for each of the 5 days (June 2 - 6) at Summerour Middle School, and experience the thrill of giving the gift of riding a bike!

Just 75 invigorating minutes per day… it may be the most rewarding exercise and emotional experience you’ve ever had.

  • At least 15 years old (unless accompanied by an adult)

  • Able to provide physical, emotional and motivational support to assigned rider

  • Able and willing to get some exercise (light jogging/running) for a great cause

  • Able to attend one of the following 75-minute sessions, plus a 15-minute pre-session meeting:
    8:30 - 9:45 a.m.
    10:05 - 11:20 a.m.
    11:40 a.m. - 12:55 p.m.
    2:00 - 3:15 p.m.
    3:35 - 4:50 p.m.

Ideally, volunteers attend the same time every day, but we know that schedules don’t always allow for this. If you can’t make it every day, register anyway! We are grateful for your help!

OPTION #2

We have one real philosophy when it comes to volunteers: If you want to help, we’ll find a way to make it happen. If spotting a camper isn’t a good fit, here are some other people we’d love to have on our team:

  • Graphic designer / artist - We can use your help with signage

  • Social butterfly - Join us to meet and greet our campers, sign them in, or hand out waters and snacks

  • Cheerleaders and high-fivers - Encourage our campers, keep their motivation and excitement high

If any of these interest you, or if you have a skill we haven’t mentioned, email stacey@guideeachother.org.
